Great design comes from alignment — between what users need, what engineering can build, and what the business can sustain. Most friction happens when those three drift apart: specs don't translate, engineers push back, users struggle. My job is to keep them aligned.

I start by listening — to users, to support tickets, to business constraints. I sketch wireframes to test ideas fast, prototype in Figma to validate with users and engineers, and write handoff specs engineers actually read. Collaboration isn't a phase. It's how the work gets made.
