about

My love affair with digital design kicked off with a classic "whoa, you can make stuff on a screen?!" moment.

few

words

While I've dipped my toes in pretty much every design puddle, my real superpowers are making sense of the chaos (leadership!), dreaming up shiny ideas (creative vision!), and figuring out how it all fits together without anyone crying (strategic thinking!). My mantra? Digital design isn't just about making things pretty – though that's a delightful bonus – it's about solving the actual puzzle and getting results that make people go "Ooh!" (And occasionally, it's about making sure my puppy, Porteè, doesn't upstage a crucial presentation with his Oscar-worthy surprise appearances. He's got comedic timing, I'll give him that.)

These days, as a Senior Product Designer lastly at Compare the Market – yes, the one with the meerkats, though I'm still waiting for my official meerkat onesie. I had the distinct pleasure of leading a crack team of three design maestros. My job description is a delightful cocktail of ensuring our designs are the creative bees-knees (and on-brand, naturally), schmoozing with stakeholders (read: professional mind-reader), wrestling briefs into submission, and generally making sure we're all singing from the same, beautifully designed hymn sheet.

Outside the wireframes and when I’m not deep in Figma or convincing people that UX writing matters, I’m probably hanging out with Porteè (my small, fluffy co-pilot), reading about behavioral psychology, or redesigning things in my head that don’t need redesigning (elevator buttons, I’m looking at you).

Let’s make something useful — and maybe even fun.

My key principles

🫶 People First

Design is a team sport. I believe in building psychologically safe spaces where designers can do their best work — with autonomy, honest feedback, and the occasional dog meme.

✨ Design with Curiosity

I’m wired to ask questions — sometimes annoying ones. I prototype early, test often, and obsess over the 1% details that quietly make everything better.

🔍 Research Always

I love a good hunch, but I trust real users more. I bring research into every stage of the process — from sketchy ideas to polished pixels — so we’re not just making things that look nice, but actually work.

🎨 Believe in Play

Creativity doesn’t clock in from 9 to 5. I believe in rough sketches, sticky notes, paper prototypes, and occasionally very dramatic whiteboarding. Good ideas rarely arrive fully dressed.

🚀 Influence with Vision

Design doesn’t sit on the sidelines. I collaborate with product and business leads to connect user needs with company goals — making sure what we ship is valuable and intentional.
